Avantis North America Joins the Association of British Columbia Marine Industries

Avantis North America is delighted to announce its membership with the Association of British Columbia Marine Industries (ABCMI) as a Small Business Member. This marks a significant step in strengthening our ties within the marine sector and aligns with our mission to support sustainable and innovative maritime solutions.

ABCMI, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025, plays a crucial role in advancing BC’s industrial marine sector. Since its inception in 2015, ABCMI has fostered collaboration among shipbuilders, repair facilities, industrial marine service providers, and technology innovators. With over 1,100 companies involved, the association supports more than 35,000 jobs and generates $7.5 billion in revenue annually.

As part of ABCMI, Avantis North America aims to actively participate in initiatives that drive business development, workforce training, supply chain innovation, and international market expansion. ABCMI’s focus on core activities, such as the BC Maritime Industries Strategy and the BC Maritime Industries Infrastructure Modernization and Expansion Grant Program, aligns with our commitment to fostering sustainable growth and innovation.
